throughout his years of research, he had read your name several times. you were a famous astronomer, you had written several books and built several devices for NASA.

and, he had come across pictures and videos of you. he thought you were beautiful. he suddenly became very interested in space travel and astronomy.

he was shocked to find that you also lived in D.C. in fact, quite close to him. he thought it was cool, though he would never actively go looking for you.

but one day, he’s sitting on a park bench, reading a book, when he notices someone sitting down on the opposite end of the bench. it’s you, sitting there, writing in your notebook, oblivious to his gaze full of awe. he clears his throat before muttering a weak and nervous, “uh— hi.”
