Ethan had thrown a party at his house, his parents being across states for the weekend. He'd invited pretty much everyone in the school.
Which in hindsight, wasn't the best idea.
It was a little after the party had fully kicked off and everyone was mostly drunk already. He'd walked into his kitchen to get another beer from the fridge when someone tapped his shoulder.
He'd glanced back, spotting Elenor, a girl who was very involved in theatre in the school. He'd caught her staring at him on many occasions.
He closed the fridge, popping open the beer and leaning back against the fridge as she sat up on his counter facing him. He let her talk for a minute before she moved in to kiss him and his eyes went wide.
He dodged aside quickly, but not wanting to ruin the party with tears, simply said she was too drunk to be doing that with him yet and quickly departed outside for a smoke.
There, he found a friend of Elenor's, a girl with probably the worst reputation in the area, Devi.
"You not enjoying my party?" He asked her jokingly, brows raised, barely paying attention to her answer as she fumbled to continue the conversation with him while he looked at his phone.
God, where the hell was his girlfriend?
He glanced back up to see that Devi had approached him, leaving little distance between them. She moved in to kiss him but He'd stopped her with a firm hand on her shoulder. She wasn't drunk, he knew that much.
