VILLAGE (post ending)

After the events of Delicious in Dungeon, Izutsumi split up from the group one final time too live a quiet life in a village on a snowy mountain.

She hated the snow.

But- it was a peaceful place, so it balanced itself out.

One evening- when she was making tea over her wood stove- she froze, her ear flicks- something was off.

She shakes her head- perhaps it was the house settling- it did tend to do that.

Sometime later, she sat down at her table, making herself comfortable ontop of a pillow before getting ready to eat.

Thats when it happened again- her ear flicks as she both hears and senses something.

Without moving her head, she side-eyes a certain dark area above her- on-top of one of the many horizontal beams holding up the roof- her face oddly calm-

Izutsumi “I see you.”

finally known to her. She was being stalked- but not by a love struck creep (as if anyone would even do that), but by a Ninja.
