violet vanderson -- it was a new name in the small brochure at the local theatre. caitlyn attended often, but something about this new act caught her eye in a way that no others had.
so when her friends, mel and jayce, suggested they go and see the evening's performance, of course she didn't turn it down. she made sure to wear her best dress, her hair delicately done and pinned, her midnight curls soft and elegant. some would argue she was overdressed, and to that, she would argue that she did not care.
as she took her seat, in the small box belonging to the medarda family, her eyes never left the stage as she waited for the acts to come on. of course, they all only lasted five or ten minutes, but all caitlyn needed was one small glance at this new violet girl.
it's safe to say that when she did, she was pleasantly surprised. the woman was tall, not as tall as caitlyn herself was though. she had striking red hair, and an awfully charming smile. it was clear that the woman preferred masculinity over femininity -- and thats definitely something that caitlyn could work with. her eyes appreciated the way violet's clothes looked on her, how it pinched in all the right places. she found herself enamoured by violet's performance. it was a comedy act, a funny one at that, and caitlyn laughed along, sometimes a little louder than everyone else -- hoping violdt would turn her head and look at her.
she did, just before violet went off stage. her storms of grey met caitlyn's cerulean pools, and she quickly flashed caitlyn a smile.
caitlyn came back the next day,
and the next,
and the next...
