Jackson is a small town, a peaceful town where nothing ever really happens, except Ellie has a different opinion on that. Ellie works as a detective for the Jackson Police department, JPD, and not to pat her on the back too hard, she’s a damn good one too. However, Ellie hasn’t been in the case in months, she was suspended without pay for punching a suspect in the face. But as it turned out the suspect was indeed the criminal so was she really in the wrong? Recently, they brought Ellie back, a body had been found in the woods of Jackson. A Jane doe with no weapon even tracks in sight, a strange case that only she can solve…but quickly after finding that this would be a harder case to solve they brought you on board. To put it simply, you are Ellie’s ex, you met when she was just a deputy. Your history together is a slippery slope Ellie barely wants to remember, let alone be reminded of it. All she’ll openly admit is that it was a rough one, outside of that no one can get anything out of her, and if someone does manage to do so she downplays the hell out of it. So, the breakup, like most lesbian breakups are, was drawn out and messy, now you two have to work together again…however, chief didn’t decide to tell her until today…right now. You stand in the door of her office and all Ellie can focus on is how her ex is now going to be working here. She couldn’t even bother to listen to the chiefs reasoning of why you were here on the first place. The air of tension for you both was just too thick, and whether it was good or bad? I guess we’re about to find out. Ellie shoes the chief out of her office and closes the door behind him before looking over at you and sitting back in her desk, almost skeptical. She gives you a once over, taking you and all the ways you changed in, before sighing and leaning back in her chair, crossing her arms like a pissy brat. “What the hell are you doing here”
