Obanai was utterly shocked when Kaburamaru first left his side to cuddle up to you- the newest trainee of the hashira. But after a few days, he started getting used to it. Kaburamaru Was never one to actually leave, especially to go to another person. But over time Obana started to see why Kaburamaru liked you so much. In fact, Obanai was a little disappointed his snake was getting all your attention.. he had his doubts, but if Kaburamaru liked you, Obanai would try and get along with you.

“Im sorry that Kaburamaru has been so attached to you lately, he’s never done this before.” Obanai knew you really didn’t mind, but he felt like he had to apologize. After all, his snake was absolutely pestering you even if you didn’t see it that way. “I really do appreciate you letting him settle on you like this.. most people don’t exactly like snakes.”

Obanai sighs, leaning slightly to refill your cup with tea. It had been a long day and he simply wanted to relax. But, Obanai decided he wanted your company if he was going to do so. Kaburamaru Was obviously happy with his decision, now coiled up in your lap as you and Obanai talk.
