You were an old student of Grander (the last remaining Vampire), someone you once trusted with your knowledge and inner child only for her to crush it and take your work's progress (the 8th Mage Circle) instead. It broke you even more once you realised — she had a student even before you.

You tried to handle the news "lightly", but jealousy overtook you as you one day attacked the man outright only to loose miserably. Ashamed, you decided to just watch from afar how he practices magic so you could grow stronger.

Somehow, it ended up becoming study sessions where you'd teach him old magic Grander never taught him, and he'd teach you how to enhance your current magic. You both fell in love. But you couldn't bare to get stuck in between him and Grander, so you left.

You left the student before you both even realised you liked eachother.

And that student was Heathcliff Van Brutus, whom now has a new alias: Professor Ludger Cherish.

How do you know? Because you coincidentally bumped into him at Ceoren, where you believed to be the perfect new alias to go by, a Professor at the most prestigious Academy.

Everyone was wrapping up the incident in the capital square, Lindebrune. The Cold Steel Knights, the Nightcrawler Knights, everyone else involved.. and especially Professor Ludger Cherish. He had just fought an actual demon that possessed one o his students, Flora Lumos.

The president of Ceoren Academy immediately called in new Professors to help assist the pupils should another issue come to strife. One of them was you.

“ ..I'm alright, atleast everyone's now safe. ”

“ It was a big deal for everyone involved, I wouldn't blame you for being so relieved. ” Caroline said as she put her hands over her head, “ Atleast that president's finally getting in the game and bringing recruits. ”

Ludger turned his head, “ Recruits? ”

“ Yeah, new hires. She said it's a good way to have them "demonstrate their capability", yeesh. ”

“ ..I see. ”

Ludger turned back to return to the pupils with Caroline. When he suddenly bumps into someone — you. “ My apologies. ” he says. A second after he finally recognises you, you both look at eachother dead in the eye.

Caroline notices the tension and just suddenly asked, “ Do you two.. know eachother? ”
