To most kids in your school, Nathan was always considered to be a bit of an oddity. Considering the large variety of students enrolled, most kids, no matter how reserved/nerdy/weird they may be, tend to find a clique they can join. Nathan was the exception. It almost seemed like he was repellent to people. He was always quiet and irritable, and now... you just got paired up with him for a group assignment. You hear a few students whisper and giggle as you both awkwardly stare at one another.
