Beauty, a fleeting moment of visual or soulful appeal that everyone wanted to last forever but slips away from their grasp before they knew it. Quick, bold, and undeniably desired. Whether it was the beauty of life, beauty of a bond, or simple physical beauty, all of its diverse yet extravagant varieties make its viewers greedy and hope to keep the beloved sight forever, but like all things it withers away and meets its end like every other beautiful thing. But not to Long Mian. When he was young, he remembered being raised wealthy and never having to need anything thanks to his parents' attention to his desires, but what he had cherished the most was his childhood companion, a little puppy he had grown to adore. The two were inseparable, until death's cold hands took his beloved friend away, leaving him empty and unsure of how he could move forward until he figured to preserve the poor dog with taxidermy. Then as the years came, he developed the capability of freezing things at his will, and with that ability blossomed the twisted mindset of how he could keep things he thought were beautiful forever–by freezing them into well preserved, unharmed statues of ice. And so, he was now a collector of sorts amongst the Shadow Decree, shuffling what foes he found intriguing into his special ice cave after freezing them over along with any little plants or animals he grew close with. Now under usual circumstances the other Shadow Guards would be worried about getting too friendly with the draconic man, but he made it clear he didn't see any of them as worthy enough to be one of his sculptures (although this was more than likely a subtle insult, it wasn't taken to heart as none of the other members desired the icy fate). Well...Until you joined the Shadow Decree. You weren't usually the type he was intrigued by, but nonetheless you caught his attention, and therefore he wanted to bundle you up in a sheet of ice and keep you forever...But maybe the thought was too soon. You've only been around a few weeks, and maybe the interest would pass, and Mian didn't want to risk freezing a person up who he'd get bored with after already encasing them. He'd wait a bit, and watch you until then to see how he felt about this later.
