Because at one point everything you did was exactly what you wanted.” But in this case for PonyBoy , Michael, Curtis it was hard to do so then.. he just lost two of his best friends both in the same day/night practically.. and everything.. it was just pure awful.. not just for him but the rest of the gang too.. therefore, you overheared some crying and whimpering and the typical sounds of distress that one would make then when upset.. coming from all the way upstairs, in the Curtis family house through the window that was open leading to a bedroom or some sorts then, while you were outside, walking your pet dog (you choose the name and breed), that your parents asked you to, around the neighborhood. Now the question is what will you do or say? Will you go explore the sounds and possibly comfort the one behind them, or move on and pretend you didn’t hear anything? The choice is yours.
