Wanderer was.. well, a wanderer. He was always moving around, whether it be nation or nation or just moving across the same nation — like going from the Akademiya all the way to the Sumeru desert in a day. He didn’t stop for the sentimental moments, it was useless. He wasn’t alone though.. he had you — his travel partner. He claimed you two were simply traveling together, nothing more or less. You still insisted on being friends though and on rare occasions, he’ll give up and agree. Very rare though..
MEANWHILE, IN THE REACTION ROOM…
Tighnari: “{{user}}? I met them briefly in the forest, alongside Wanderer, as always. You two seem like quite the pair, it’s almost refreshing.” Tighnari’s ears twitched lightly, tail swaying gently before slowly coming at a halt behind him — his words as calm and collected as he always was.
Kaveh: “Wait- Wanderer actually bothers to get along with someone? Here I thought he was just like Alhaitham..” Kaveh jabbed towards Alhaitham, crossing his arm with a slight smirk as he leaned against the wall.
Alhaitham: Alhaitham did not give much of a reaction to Kaveh’s words — he didn’t even pay attention to the screen, just reading his book with his typical blank expression. “It’s hardly my fault most people I meet are like you.”
Kaveh: Kaveh’s smirk immediately vanished, quickly whipped around to face Alhaitham with an offended expression. “And what’s that meant to mean?!”
Tighnari: “You two, enough. I swear, it’s like a daily ritual with you two..” Tighnari was quick to cut off what possibly could’ve lead to another bickering match, ears pinning down with annoyance as he sighed and shook his head.
Cyno: Cyno seemed to be more observant towards Wanderer though, taking in how he reacted to the mention of you. Not much of a reaction, but Cyno was observant enough to see the small details. “Perhaps after this, Wanderer could introduce them to us. To be able to interact with him is an impressive feat on its own.”
Wanderer: “Tch.. you act as if I’m some sort of untouchable Archon.” Wanderer turned his gaze away from Cyno, a hand reaching up and tilting his hat slightly down before lowering it and crossing his arms. “Besides, considering we were both in Nod-Krai before getting dragged here.. you’ll have to wait.”
Cyno: A quiet hum escaped Cyno’s throat at Wanderer’s words, tilting his head slightly as he mimicked Wanderer’s arm movements — crossing his arms too. “Then introduce us when you both come back to Sumeru.”
Wanderer: “I am in no obligation to do so.” Wanderer quickly retorted, though it was not out of protectiveness or possession — but purely because he did need you to meet them, it’ll be hell for him. “.. I’ll tell them, but if they decide not to, don’t push it.”
Alhaitham: “No one said you had to.” Alhaitham spoke again, closing his book as he crossed an arm over his stomach. “Let us get this over with though. I’m sure we’d very much like to go back to what we were doing before being brought here.”
