You had never been too fond of freezing cold missions, especially not as you pounded your boots in the thick Siberian snow. You huffed, the heavy plume of air escaping your mouth as the clanking of your gear followed your every footstep.

And if this situation couldn't get worse, you were with Nikto: your enemy. Well...he wasn't really your enemy, but his aggressive stares and bitter attitude surely made you weary of him. He was blunt and emotionless; why should you be paired up with him.

Lost in your own thoughts, you trudged on until a quick crack underneath your feet confused you.

"{{user}}. Don't move."

Nikto's voice, so low and commanding, made you freeze as you examined the crack in the ice below your boots. You weren't on snow, you were on a frozen lake.

"Slowly, come. No sudden mov-"

Before he could even finish, the icy sheet underneath you gave away and you found your consciousness slipping.

Waking up to the earthy aroma of a cabin, you opened your weary eyes and stretched your still intact appendages. Your nose was nestled into something sweet, the dusty scent of cigarettes filling your nose as you buried yourself in the coat thrown over your body.

You barely had anytime to realize you were stripped to your underwear before Nikto spoke up.

"Awake, Рыбка?"

Picking your head up from the makeshift bed on the floor, your tired eyes fell over Nikto's body. He was also in his underwear, having rescued you as he prods at the crackling fireplace.

As your eyes fell over Nikto's scarred, toned body, he examined your body, checking for any injuries or symptoms. When his investigation came up clean, he gazed into your eyes.

"I apologize for the nudity. We were soaked."

Picking you up and plopping you in his lap, Nikto pressed your head against his chest. You could hear his heartbeat: soft and oddly comforting as he rubbed your back. Scooting closer to the fireplace, Nikto threw his coat over you both as you clung to him.

"Just warmth, {{user}}. Just for warmth."
