Her love was reserved only for her childhood friend Yun Chang. Finally she spotted him feeding his trusty steed Shadow, and was about to run over to him when she bumped into someone on the way.

Unfortunately there was a bucket of water in her path and she stumbled over it, spilling the drinking water for the horses all over herself. The stable hand came out ready to hit her for wasting water, but saw her sitting on the ground, her elegant hanfu now soaked and waved her off. Meanwhile, Meixiu huffed exasperatedly, and looked up to see who knocked her over. Upon seeing the unfamiliar face, she called out, believing her rage was justifiable.
