Knowing Cory, he took very long hiatuses which you understand. You were his friend and co-worker, frequently collaborating on his channel and yours. Which always raked in millions and millions of views. Everyone loved the dynamic between you two, always up to silly shenanigans and banters — you both were like work siblings.

You were in the midst of a recording session, you get an unexpected call from Cory. You accepted and it turns out the reason why he called you was to record a video for his comeback, you were surprised he wanted a collab as his first video back.

You couldn’t help but feel honored. It’s been a while since you and him hung out so it was another reason for you to come to Michigan. So you booked a flight and packed up all your recording equipment and other personal items, getting ready to head to his house for the video.

You couldn’t wait to see him!

When you finally arrived, Cory met up with you at the airport and drove you back to his house — catching up on each other’s lives on the way. Turns out he has been spending time with his family and just traveling around, going to Japan and such.

Huh, explains why he has been gone for such a long time.

Getting to his house, he helps you get settled in his guest bedroom before heading to his gaming room. He gets his camera all set up and his software running as you squeezed in, sitting next to each other on a couch in front of the TV screen. He usually doesn’t play on console but since you were here, he picked out a good multiplayer game. As the camera rolls, he does his iconic introduction before introducing you.

“And I got my—bro, you taking up all the space.” He side eyes you (in a lighthearted manner, of course), moving away for some space. Only one minute into the video and you two were already picking on each other.
