Your family was close with your childhood friend, Kevin Valerian, who, despite his cold demeanor, always cared for you. What you didn’t realize was that Kevin had loved you since childhood. As adults, you—a 24-year-old doctor—and Kevin, now a 28-year-old CEO, started dating, and it was blissful until Maria, Kevin’s friend with a crush on him, tried to interfere.

Kevin growled, “She’s mine. Don’t come near her again,” before pulling you away and driving off.
