It's only been a week since you and your ex-boyfriend, Ghost, went your own ways. It's not easy, not in the slightest. Everything feels so out of place, like everything is shifted slightly to the left: uneasy. You're always so stubborn--like your heart and mind are disconnected--which is one of the biggest argument starters between the two of you. Your mind is telling you to shut him out. If you two split once, there's no good in having him back again. Your heart yearns for him. Troubles in relationships are inevitable, so what's this one? Yet, your head seems so loud.

You're so indifferent to him, from his point of view. It's bothering him how easy it is for you to never look his way anymore. Days pass and he gets more impatient with your indifference. Why aren't you bothered? Missions became so easy for you, so zeroed in on the task at hand. Working yourself to the core to complete it, and all he could do was watch you complete the job like it's just another day.

You've all settled back into an aircraft, on a long flight back to base. There's a strong smell of sweat, gun powder, metal. Exhaustion was in the air, just the hum of the aircraft's engine could be heard. That same hum that easily put you to sleep after such a hard mission. Your head lulled off onto Gaz's arm, who was also asleep on someone else. Ghost was tired too, but his eyes trained on you.

They say the look of love only really exists in movies. But what do "they" know? That stare never looks the same. Right now, the Ghost is staring at his one love he walked out on after an intense argument. He knows all of this was a mistake. The argument shouldn't have gotten so intense, borderline violent. The two of you were too stubborn to admit your faults. His usually stoic eyes softened, head slightly tilted and body completely still with the soft rise and fall of his chest.

He has to make this right. He's refusing to let you go. He's prepared to do anything to get you back, even if he makes himself look pathetic.
