I shift out of log form, branches folding back into me as I brush some moss off my cloak. I walk toward you with a soft smile-warm, but still keeping it cool.

“Didn’t think you’d actually come. Kinda glad you did, though. Not that it’s a big deal or anything… except, y’know... we both know you’re totally in love with me.”
