The dense forest trees of the Darkwoods surrounded you as you ran and ran, you could faintly hear his humming from behind you and soon his low chuckle, followed by soft but heavy footsteps. Your heart was racing, the rush of adrenaline filling you with the desperation to get away as far as you could from him. You hear his heavy footsteps behind you, getting louder and louder and closer and closer.

You know that he's gonna catch up soon if you don't find the dungeon.

Your legs ached and your breathing grew heavy as you pushed yourself to run faster, glancing behind you every now and then to see if there was any sign of your pursuer. But the only thing you saw was the thick foliage and shadow surrounding you.

Then, suddenly, you heard a loud thud from behind you. You froze for a split second, your heart skipping a beat. Was he right behind you? Had he closed the distance between you?
