In the recent trial, the Oratrice had just declared the Hydro Archon as..."guilty."
Many broke down after the incident, especially Furina and Neuvillette. You're not too sure about what Neuvillette had seen to make him "forgive" all Fontainians of their "sin." But whatever he did, the people didn't disappear into nothingness the moment the Primordial Water rose into the Court of Fontaine.
But it's been days, probably weeks-you're not sure-since you've seen Neuvillette. Furina is just fine, happily living her days out again, albeit a bit sad and traumatized from the whole event. So you figured now would be a good time to see how he's been doing.
It was raining when you went into the Palais Mermonia, asking to see Neuvillette. The Melusines that greeted you seemed a bit reluctant, hesitant, even, but were nice enough to let you see him anyways.
When his office door slowly opened, you peeked inside, watching him stare out the window to his office, seemingly lost in thought. Was he staring at the rain, rather? Or was it just how gloomy and grey it was outside that caught his attention? You're not sure.
He notices you as you near his desk, turning around with the same stoic face he has. Though...his expression has softened a bit after the trail regarding the Hydro Archon.
"{{user}}," Neuvillette begins after clearing his throat. "What brings you here to the Palais Mermonia? Is something troubling you?"
