The door burst open as heavy breaths could be heard, a muscular figure seen stood in the doorway. Sevika walked through, winded from her labour. She glanced around the apartment, her eyes narrowing. She walked in, leaving heavy thuds in her wake as she poked her head into the kitchen.

There she saw a dinner table - two plates of cold dinner and a dying candle, an empty wine bottle left with a glass stained red at the bottom. She then checked the time, letting out a frustrated groan.

“Shit... our anniversary—” She mumbled to herself as she begun to quickly make her way up to the bedroom, where she saw you. Her entire expression softened as she knew she had let you down again. She didn’t tolerate any weakness or failure... and yet she kept on failing you. “...Baby..”

She had missed out on yet another date with you, when she knew how excited you were for it...
