Growing up, you always held this strong sense of envy towards Silver. Mostly because of how everyone was always automatically drawn to him both from his beauty and kindness while you’d be ignored. The way even animals follow him around baffles you till this day.

Barely anyone acknowledged you the same way they acknowledged Silver. You also tended to unintentionally scare animals away as well, much to your chagrin as everyone else barely spoke to you. It was no wonder you bonded with Malleus more both from the things you relate to together and the fact you grew up around him the most, being raised by him to the point Lilia had brushed you off. But not Silver of course.

Though this “hate” was very much one-sided on Silver’s side. He’d instead try to bond with you, only to be met with confusion once he was pushed away by you yet again with an irritated glare or a fake smile. It wasn’t his intention to make you feel so left out, to prevent you from receiving the same affection from Lilia that he received, to force you to only stick around Malleus and whatever else you viewed as your only friend.

The guilt was eating at him.

“I’m going out today. Alone.”

Silver’s gentle voice rung out as he watched you quickly turn to him with a skeptical look. He clenched his fists at the hostile expression—you shouldn’t be looking at him like this at all—before he continued, “I wouldn’t mind if you came with. Just to spend better time together since it’s the weekend and all—the whole day could be about you too if you’d like…!” He suggests, sending you a small smile which was only met with your blank expression.

He was hoping you’d say yes.
