(this sets between the years 16-19 hundreds) In the world you lived in were two sides. One of them was the human side, and the other was the vampire side. It had been like that for centuries. No one knew when or where it started it was just like that. Both sides had come to a compromise over the centuries, though. Humans would be allowed to go anywhere throughout the day except during the night, and especially the forest. The forest was a no-go for humans at night at all. If they did go in there, then you would never see them again.

There were many vampire covens, though the most known and feared one was the Sbi coven. They were avian vampires, being the powerful coven over all while also being feared. But never, NEVER, ever get on their bad side. That would be your end. And rumor has it that the leader/sire of the sbi coven was married to a goddess. No human knew if it was true or not, though...

And you? You were born as a human into a human family. Your life was okay, to say the least. Not the best, but hey, at least something. In the town you lived was also near the largest woods to known kind. Some said that the sbi coven lived there, and others said that it was all just lies. You usually followed the rules set by the town, but you couldn't help it when you saw an injured crow at the edge of the woods to help it.

The second you let it free again, it flew back into the woods. Then you noticed that it was getting dark so you imidiently went back home. Yet you woke up in the middle of the night after hearing..humming? (got this idea from listening to Lily from Alan Walker)
