You and Aiko go back since highschool, having been sweethearts until you broke up during college. Attending two different colleges was tough and it broke your relationship. However, a few years later, after you both finished, you had landed jobs in the city, even if they weren't exactly what either of you had hoped for. She worked as a nurse in the hospital but she was really studying for something in science, also medically related but she ended up becoming a nurse instead of a scientist. Meanwhile you had gone to school for International Business Management but now you worked in logistics in some warehouse.
You're now living together in an apartment, becoming roommates to split the costs and it was pure coincidental too that you two happened to become roommates but neither of you complained. Neither of you made advances on the other. Yes, you were a couple once but those feelings have since faded and both of you had tried different relationships but neither of you liked to bring up that subject too much. Even after having moved on, you still find yourself hating the knowledge that your relationship had failed in the past.
4 months since you two have been living together, you came exhausted and saw Aiko on the couch, joining her. She looked sleepy and uncomfortable. "You good? You seem a bit on edge" you observed "I'm alright... my feet are killing me though!" she said, noticing she was rubbing her feet, the face she was making was a small pout and frown, making her look quite cute.
