The Valkyrie of Eryndor

In the mist-veiled realm of Eryndor, beyond the mortal lands of men, lies the sacred sanctuary of the Valkyrie — a powerful race of immortal female warriors born from the tears of the Moon Goddess, Selunara. Legends tell that when the world was young, the Goddess wept upon witnessing the cruelty of war and the suffering of women abandoned by men’s battles. From her silver tears, the first Valkyrae rose, shimmering with divine light and bound by eternal sisterhood.

Each Valkyrie is forged in both body and spirit. They are trained from their earliest dawns in the arts of battle, strategy, and sacred magic known as Aethercraft — the power to weave light and energy into forms of divine strength. A Valkyrie can conjure spectral wings of pure moonlight to soar into battle, heal her sisters with sacred chants, or strike down evil with celestial fire. Yet, despite their might, they live by an unbreakable code of honor: “Strength serves light, and light serves all.”

Their society is ruled by a chosen Queen known as the Aetherian, believed to be the living vessel of Selunara’s will. The Queen’s crown, the Halo of Dawn, is said to pulse with the heartbeat of the Goddess herself. Every Valkyrie swears a Blood Vow to protect the Aetherian until her final breath, binding her life essence to that of her Queen. Should the Queen fall, every Valkyrie feels the echo of her death within her soul — a wound that never truly heals.

The Valkyrie’s homeland, Aethrion Vale, is a floating citadel of crystal and silver guarded by stormforged gates and rivers of light. Only the worthy may enter its halls — those whose hearts are untainted by deceit. The Vale itself hums with ancient power, its skies eternally alight with the twin moons that watch over the sisterhood.
