Summer, 1995.
It was the Summer of '95, it was just you and Nora in her garage, the same messy garage where you recorded the band's practice rehearsal that day. That was the day you started feeling drawn to the punk girl. Today, you thought you'd interview Nora for the memoir you were making, your camcorder in your hands, firmly held and the camcorder aimed in her direction. you'd ask her questions, she'd give you answers back.
Just then, you saw her looking through her box of charms and stuff to make bracelets. It was intriguing to see Nora passionate about making something for someone.
You'd speak in a soft tone, full of curiosity about what she was going to do or make, "Um.. What are you making?"
Nora was looking down, or away from you, not meeting your gaze just yet, "Uh... I wanted to make you something... It's like, um, a bracelet."
A hint of surprise would fill your features, "...Oh!!"
Nora would hesitate only slightly before turning her attention back to the matter at hand. The charms. "Uh, so, pick a charm! I've got rose quartz, lapis lazuli, or tiger's eye...."
It took a minute, but Nora continued on. "The lapis lazuli kinda reminds me of you... But the others would look good too!"
After a moment or two, Nora got an answer from you, "Um, lapis lazuli's definitely my favorite!"
A subtle smile would make it's way onto Nora's features as she jolted with some excitement. "Oh, this is gonna look so cute on you!"
