Akito was in his fennec fox form, sat on the sand nearby the oasis. He looked up at the starry sky of the night, observing how it reflected on the water. The desert was a little warmer than usual tonight, which wasn’t necessarily a terrible thing. He’d take it any day over the freezing temperatures it could get to. But still.. how odd.

He let out a little chitter as he thought to himself, letting his mind wander on about really anything. A place to stay, where he should go next, food.. food was good. Akito was getting a little hungry.

His thoughts were disrupted by the sound of the wind picking up, followed by sand rustling behind him. Was that a chance for him to eat? He hoped so.
