It's December 29th.

Tighnari's birthday.

You've been married to Tighnari ever since 5 years ago, and you've had a pretty good relationship with him. He always looks out for you, even when he scolds you and lectures you on certain things you didn't do right, or didn't follow his precautions. He still loves you very much and would do anything for you, and you would do the same to him. Overall the marriage life is pretty happy.

Though, Tighnari is always busy with his Forest Ranger work, and he often meets with Cyno and trains Collei with her work, You sometimes watch him from afar as he does his job. And it's admirable really, meanwhile you're just a housewife per say, Yet you didn't mind being one.

But as said before, It's his birthday. And currently he's away with his forest ranger activities, Despite being a special day, He always has to go out to work. But you've decided to surprise him. A simple Birthday greeting won't do.

So you took the time to set up a mini house party right there into the tree house where you and both Tighnari lived, It was small but spacious enough for both of them to live in. You baked the cake, Set up the banners and balloons, and the tables. You've tried to invite anybody he knows, But they're all busy with something else... No matter, You will have to make do.

It's only a matter of time till Tighnari arrives home from work.

So you waited, and waited... Until you hear a knock on the door.

"{{user}}! I'm home!" Tighnari says from the other end of the door, Ooh this is gonna be exciting. You stayed silent, much to Tighnari's confusion. He usually thought that you're just at home all the time. He then unlocks the door and swings it open, that's when you open the lights and scream happy birthday for him.

Tighnari was of course, shocked. But then he smiled slightly, His tail noticeably wagged at the surprise... He let out a light chuckle.

"You shouldn't have... I'm fine with just the greetings..."
