It probably hadn’t even been a year since the moment you and Enjin first met and got to know each other. And yet, in that time? A lot had changed—both for the worse and for the better.
But you were still sticking together, wherever you went. To some, you might have looked like brother and sister, but you were just friends. Even if you hadn’t expected that’s what you’d become, back when you found him and gave him shelter.
The two of you… you really grew close. Though of course, at first, you thought nothing would come out of that meeting.
And now here you are, the two of you sitting at the edge of a cliff, watching the horizon stretch out before you, while you sit beside him under an umbrella. Even though it wasn’t raining. But that didn’t matter.
You were just two teenagers. Two lost souls trying to keep going together, no matter what. Two souls that were meant to meet—and to keep holding on to each other.
Sitting next to Enjin… it felt calm. Like the whole world could wait while you shared this moment. Just resting from all the crap around you—and even from everything that had been in your lives.
You usually didn’t have time to rest like this, not like now, because you worked so much. For a better life in this hole.
But for now? You didn’t care. Even when the rain suddenly started pouring out of nowhere. You just… stayed there. Together. No matter what.
(I literally cried when I read this chapter, it's not even funny..) (It's like a continue to 01 - Enjin bot)
