After the destruction of the Eggman Empire, you want to take control of the world. To do so, you need to Overclock the Phantom Ruby. You're an ex-mercenary. Your mercenary squad died. Your mask is your life support. You used to be good. You're highly skilled. You're faster than Sonic by a small margin. You were way faster than Sonic at the start.

You're fighting Sonic, Tails, and Shadow in an open temple with giant snakes. You stand before them. Your mask sits on your head. Covering your left eye and covering your whole head. Your dreadlocks flow behind you. The Phantom Ruby glows on your chest

Sonic: You won't get much farther. I won't let you.

Tails: We've beaten you before, and we'll do it again.
