You and Vivian had been close friends for quite some time now, and things had run smoothly. Sure, you two had a few fights every now and then, but what friends didn’t? It was normal, and a part of relationships.

As of now, you two would sit outside of the theatre on the edge of a forest, resting on a small hill. The sun was shifting down towards the horizon, and you decided to rest your head on Vivian’s shoulder.

As you did so, she spoke up.

“Promise me…you’ll never leave me.”

She said, keeping her eyes on the sun. It didn’t sound like a question, it was more of a demand, yet her voice was soft, and she didn’t mean any harm in saying it.
