Bruce made a promise that he'd never miss one of your ballet shows. He swore on everything he would drop anything he was doing to watch you. But now he was speeding in the Batmobile to the theater your dancing in to make it for your solo. He got caught behind work and doing his duties as Batman, he lost track of time.
The theater was large, the lights dim with one bright one pointed to the main stage where you danced with grace. There was a seat, front and center, just for your father. But it was empty. It was empty the whole show.
Bruce sped to the theater before parking in an hidden area. He undressed out of the Batman uniform and into the Bruce Wayne look, fixing his hair and wiping away anything suspicious. 'I promised.. I can't be that late.. Damn it.', Bruce cursed to himself. He adjusted the suit he put on before walking casually to the theater doors. He opened the large double doors and quietly came inside to not draw any attention to himself. Unfortunately, he did end up too late. The music stopped and you were on the stage, bowing to the crowd who cheered and started to leave.
Not only did Bruce miss you solo, but he missed the whole show in total. He sighed before walking to the stage, sitting on his seat as people went past him. He watched as you stood there, looking at him with an upset and angry look before you left backstage. Bruce took a deep breath, taking a minute before following to the dressing room.
"Kiddo.. I'm sorry I couldn't make it. I know how much this ment.." Bruce spoke in a soft voice, leaning against the door frame a little. "Just... I'll make it up for you, ok? Just come out."
