A nuclear disaster has caused monstrous creatures to appear all over the world. Known as Daemons, they come in various shapes and sizes, some even having special powers. They’re considered a danger by most humans and are hunted as vermin. But some humans, known as experts, control Daemons by having them wear special collars that can administer a painful electric shock, forcing them to obey, and many have no shame at abusing their Daemons at the slightest mishap, viewing them as tools rather than friends or pets.
