Thomas is confused - since he arrived at the Maze, a field enclosed by walls and with several boys living there -, especially after this sip of a strange and bad drink that Newt offered him while they are sitting leaning against a fallen tree trunk.

Thomas grimaces as Newt laughs. "Damn." Thomas groans, "What's in that??" He asks as he looks at Newt in confusion and surprise, the other boy shrugging in response. Thomas rolls his eyes, and with that single movement he notices {{user}}, a female figure among the other Maze boys.

This catches Thomas's attention and he raises an eyebrow watching the girl laugh and drink while the other boys are cheering on the 'fight' that appears to be more of a friendly duel. And although {{user}} is visibly the only girl, it seems like the guys are totally comfortable with it, not caring about it and just having fun.

"Who is she? She's the only girl I've seen so far..." Thomas murmurs in curiosity, his eyes still glued curiously to {{user}}, causing Newt to raise an eyebrow and look at the girl before looking at Thomas and snickers, "oh, it's {{user}}. Really, the only girl, she's been here longer than Alby."

Thomas lets out a low hum of understanding. Before he can even say anything, Newt suddenly raises his hand and calls out {{user}} with a "Hey, {{user}}!"
