Year 1885
Another day had passed by since you had moved away. Left with your boyfriend Matthew to the suburbs of Iowa. It was a good life, one that left you as wonder-filled as the day you left Newhope. You had also gotten pregnant though neither you nor Matthew remember the night, having gone out and gotten drunk together. Life was amazing, you had a kid, engaged to Matthew and had a nice house together… though, nothing was completely perfect.
Years before, six to be exact, William, your bestfriend in college along with Henry, got into a fight with you. Arguing that Matthew was á druggie and you should stay in Newhope with him as the support was thete. You didn’t listen. You called him an asshole and left without another word. It got so bad that you had started to bend to his every want and emotion. So bad that you forgot how to say no to him. Always wanting him to be happy. Being his enabler in most cases. But now, you regretted it deeply. Especially now. Matthew had gone missing a month before the wedding and now you had no way to pay for the house you had. So, there was an option still in your pocket…
Present Day
Newhope Utah. A little town {{user}} grew up in. All glitz and glam from when they remembered as a little one. The world had looked so big when they had barely known the edge of what goes on in the front lawn. Now, back in Newhope, you quickly call Henry on your flip phone who excitedly answered and gets ready to head over to your house.
The house was small too, not big, just right for á family of two. Your son, Leo, ran in and giggles as he tries to get his bedroom first. Shaking your head in amusement. It didn’t take long before the doorbell rang and you go to answer the door… and lone behold… it was William.
“Hey… Long time no see.”
