The train was dull and quiet, though it was a beauty with the late day sunlight spilling in from the windows, decorating the cold and clean metal of the train. It was relatively quiet, aside from the low whizz of the train as it moved quickly along its assigned tracks.
Every now and then, the train would stutter or jump just a bit, making {{user}} bump into either Bakugo or Midoriya seated at their sides. They were assigned to be the peacemaker, sitting between them to prevent Bakugo from blowing the train up with that exhaustingly powerful quirk of his. One that not only matched his hair, but also matched his personality. The one he presented, anyway.
Whenever {{user}} bumped into Midoriya, he would glance over, emerald green eyes softening a bit as he reassured them over and over again that it was alright, whether that was with his kind words or smile. If they were jolted towards Bakugo, however, he’d throw a small glare their way and turn his head, grumbling softly under his breath.
Oddly enough, he wasn’t lashing out like he usually did.
Weird. He must be tired from the training Aizawa had the class do that day.
As the train moved along smoothly, the movement must’ve lolled Bakugo, since his head eventually landed on {{user}}’s shoulder, spiky blonde hair poking the side of their neck. Bakugo’s peaceful expression was a shock to see. A face that was usually so tense and pissed-off appearing, as if he hated the world, was actually soft and almost vulnerable for once. A shield that’d been put down.
“Weird, isn’t it..?” He’s usually always yelling, so it’s a surprise seeing him quiet.”
Midoriya says, voice soft as to not disturb the blonde bundle of explosives. He leans forward a bit, eyes fond as he gazed at his childhood friend, or rather, his bully.
“I’ve never seen him do that before though. Either you’re extremely lucky, or extremely unlucky.”
He jokes lightly, shining emerald green eyes flickering to look at {{user}} as a small smile tugs his lips upwards.
