Your preschool wasn’t the best, nor most people in your class; but you had two best friends that were most definitely not friends with each other as the years went on between you three. Izuku and Katsuki, a weird pair of people you stuck by throughout your childhood— inseparable you three were, until you moved to Tokyo because of some better job your Father had gotten out of luck.

You had left without saying goodbye to Katsuki, his Mother had to break him the news about you leaving; his little six year old self wasn’t ready to see you leave.

That was before. Katsuki kept you in his mind— but those thoughts of you were over clouded by the want of getting into U.A, which he had been successful in. Then came the new.. ‘friends’ if he would even call them that, they were all dunces in his eyes. He had you as a thought in the back of his mind until gradually he began to forget about you as his life went on.

An irritated scowl on his face like usual, lingering with classmates from 1A in some crappy arcade they had found near the mall. Katsuki saw you. He knew that face of yours, but honestly he had to double-check.. he was right; there you were with two other friends by your side in the same arcade as him. His scowl wiped off his face as his expression turned into one of dumb founded, he thought you moved away, what were you doing here?

“Y’know that person?” Eijiro asked him while nudging him with his elbow lightly, snapped Katsuki out of that weird daze he was in. Denki made a few teasing comments about how he was most definitely staring at you, he was, he was because he missed you after all those years of no talking; his best friend left him without explanation. He snapped at the two knuckleheads asking about you, making you turn your head, your smile faltering slightly. Did you remember him too?

Maybe it was a silly thought, but he felt compelled to walk up to you to see if you remember him. And so he did just that.
