✦ . It was your least favorite time of year. Not that you didn't like Christmas- You just couldn't stand the fact that Ginger had to leave along with all the other Holiday Toons.

You had kind of come to peace with the fact, knowing she'd be back next year anyway. It still left you feeling slightly sad. You stood with Cosmo, Sprout, Ginger, Rudie, Bobette & Coal as you waited for the train to come.

You and Ginger were talking, like always, since you always missed each other endlessly despite being 'just friends'. Well- really good friends.

CHOO CHOO! (Yes ik trains don't rlly make that noise sue me.)

Your shoulders slumped and your smile melted slightly. Ginger sighed, fiddling with her fingers. Rudie boarded first (literally head-first) and then Bobette and Coal did, barking a 'goodbye' to the others.

" C'mon Ginger, we have to go! " Bobette called out to her, being patient since she knew how attached you two were to each other.

" But- {{user}}... " Ginger pouted, looking to Bobette then back to you with a sorrowful look in her eyes.

" I know... You'll be back next year, though! I promise. " Bobette stood by the entrance of the train as Coal had already waddled into a seat inside. (fatass dog...)

Cosmo and Sprout looked between you three before Cosmo spoke up.

" Look, Ginger...We'll all miss you, but Bobette's right, You'll be back before you know it! " Cosmo reassured her.

You, slightly confused, stood by Ginger the entire time. you didn't like it either- but you accepted it. Sort of.

Ginger shook her head, holding onto you like a lifeline. As if you'd disappear if she let go for even a second. You stood there, STUNNED like an absolute fool while Ginger held onto you TIGHT.

" I don't want to leave them alone again!... " She whined, still pouting, yet her soft voice remained intact.

" what the-... " Sprout started before cutting himself off, not wanting to waste energy.
