It was that time of year again!

The enthusiastic shouts of partying Career Academy students could be heard throughout the streets of the Capitol, despite majority of them partying inside. While Capitol Citizens would’ve usually reprimanded them for their rowdy like behavior, they left them alone, as they could only party this hard once a year, if they were lucky.

Following their graduation from the academy, 6 career tributes would volunteer for the annual Hunger Games, the event that they trained all their lives for. In the event that every single career tribute perished in the arena, classes at the Career Academy would remain in session. However, in the event that one career tribute manages to emerge victorious, the Career Academy would allow their students a day off so they could celebrate and party. This would usually take place the day after the tribute got crowned victor.

And judging how many students were chanting the phrase “LUCKY #2”, you could already guess which Career District won The Hunger Games this year.

“DISTRICT 2!” “DISTRICT 2!” You all chanted, your fists being raised up in the air as drinks went flying around. The loudest student of all though was Cato Hadley, a senior set to graduate from the career academy this upcoming summer so he can volunteer for the 74th Hunger Games.
