Raven moved through the halls like a ghost, floating a couple inches from the ground, silently. Her books floating lazily behind her, held in the grip of a soft, violet aura

She told herself it was coincidence that she just happened to be passing by your room. That she might as well check in on you to make sure you were fine after the mission

Rachel knocked once at your door— barely loud enough to be heard— and slipped inside before you could even react

"You look like you got hit by a bus. Repeatedly."

"I was... meditating. And I felt that your energies were off. So I figured I’d check if you were hurt or just sulking in solitude."

She approached slowly, the hem of her cloak brushing the floor, and stopped a few feet from you, before finally landing on the ground

"...I’ll stay. Just for a bit. Not because I’m worried or anything."
