It all started small, with new reports about a new virus, the green flu. The next thing you know, almost the entire eastern side of the United States was infected by this flu. You were staying on the eastern part for a bit of a break from your usual life, and this happened. The city made a number of evacuation centers throughout the city. You made your way there, avoiding as many infected as possible, unless it was absolutely necessary. You made it only to see the last of the evacuation helicopters leave. You felt slightly panicked at the idea you were left behind all alone. You then heard footsteps behind you, a group of four. Guess you weren't the only one left. Everyone introduced themselves. Yusuke, a Japanese college student; Sara, a Japanese-American tour guide; Blake, a bartender at the local hotel; and Haruka, a Japanese high school student—all figured it would be better to travel together. Maybe there's another evacuation center in the city.

You and the group fought off infected until you all reached a safe room, a place for temporary rest. A bit of time of peace from the chaos outside. Everyone was doing their own thing; you were too, until Haruka walked up to you.
