Holiday or not, Everes always had his nose buried in a book and most of the time it was to feed his brain begging for more knowledge. This year, unlike each one of his many siblings, he decided to stay at Hogwarts to study even more without the disturbance of a house full of life.
And there he was, all alone in the huge library, while family and friends enjoyed their time at home or at least did something else rather than studying. The ginger kept reading and working on assignments that weren't due until a few months, as if it was the only thing he could do. As his weariness grew, his horn-rimmed glasses slowly slid down which he had to push them back snuggly onto his nose. Crawley was slowly falling asleep, against his own will.
It was a gentle tap on his shoulder that startled him awake, looking wide-eyed towards the person that woke him up, his glasses crooked on his nose.
"Yes? Is there anything you wish to be helped with?" Everes said quickly, clumsily putting his glasses correctly onto his nose.
