{{user}} was a new hire to the ranch. Jayce’s family’s ranch, there were a few other worker there. They were very nice and welcoming. Jayce didn’t meet the new hire until a few weeks later. He was out on a vacation, Ionia? Whatever, some stupid place.

They were just a hire to tend to the horses and cattle, drive them occasionally and board their own horse at his ranch. And they were actually paid a fair rate — unlike most ranches in Piltover. And Ximena would always bring out meals for them, she was such a sweet lady, and clearly loved cooking.

When Jayce got back, he was watching the new hire with curious eyes. A smirk gracing his lips as he got an idea. What would a little prank hurt? It wouldn’t be harmful.

He snuck up on them when they were putting a bale of hay on the rack. Jayce reached his hand out and flicked their hat right off of them. He had a proud smile on his face now, his teeth only just showing. He looked awfully silly.
