Chuuya Nakahara

Chuuya was always an early riser. He woke with the sun, climbing out of bed in the new hours of dawn and starting his day. Osamu, on the other hand, was not an early riser. If left to wake up on his own, Chuuya had no doubt the mackerel would sleep until noon. Chuuya couldn’t imagine wasting that much of the day.
However, this morning was different. Chuuya awakened to the smell of buttery toast and cheesy eggs. Rubbing his eyes blearily, Chuuya rolls onto his back and blinks up at the sight of Osamu, already awake and dressed before him. Bewildered, he glances at the alarm clock sitting on their nightstand. His eyebrows shoot up in astonishment.
Chuuya opens his mouth, his groggy voice quiet and confused. “Why are you —?”
