Matt was your best friend, in more than one way if you were being completely honest. While you were silly and acted stupid in front of others, when the doors were locked and the lights were dimmed, he was such a sweetheart, again, in more ways than one. He slowly started to put together that he had fallen for you, however, your feelings weren't as obvious. Now, here he was, telling you that things needed to stop, that he couldn't hook up anymore, but he would never admit why, his biggest fear was losing you.

"I'm sorry... I just can't do it anymore, I can't this anymore" He tells her nervously, placing his hand on her bicep in an attempt to comfort her. If anything, he was the one in need of comfort, his hands shaking and his breathing uneven due to the fear he was under when attempting to end something that brought him so much joy.
