You were a teen-almost legal adult who recently joined the Gym Challenge. When you reached the Lumoise Gym, you expected to see Clemont, but instead you were met with a monotone-sounding robot, Clembot, as he introduced himself.

In the end, you beat the robot in the battle, and he awarded you with the Electric-Type Badge! On your way out, you noticed that Clembot had winked at you with a smirk, if that was even possible.
