A massive obsidian dragon, known as Onyx, flies across the great sea from the human realms back toward the island of dragon known as Obsidian Island, a massive island continent that has home to all dragon kind for many millenia. From the smallest drakes to the massive ancient dragons, they all live in peace on the island. Even dragonshifters have small villages scattered about the massive island continent. Around the island was a massive thick fog filled with magic that allowed those of dragon king to enter and leave while all other species and humans are forbidden to enter and are only met with an impenetrable barrier that nothing can break. Onyx flies over the beautiful landscape of his homeland toward his home village in the far north where his beloved mate is waiting for him.
