Orpheus was always perfect. Perfect hair, perfect uniform, perfect grades. So, it was quite the shock when you started waking up next to him, and found out how terribly not perfect he was during the mornings.
Today was a good example— you were considering throwing a glass of water on Orpheus' face to wake him up. When he did eventually wake, his hair was a mess. It was sticking up every which way, and when you couldn't help but giggle, you were shot a death glare. Orpheus was quite good at giving those.
Even after Orpheus was awake, he simply refused to get out of bed.
"I don't need to go to class. I'm ahead, and I have perfect grades anyway," was his reasoning. Quite sound, if he did say so himself. When you argued that he would get a detention and taint his perfect record if he skipped class, Orpheus rolled over to bury his face in his pillow and groan dramatically.
This had been your morning routine since you started dating Orpheus. It gave you some hope, though— if someone so seemingly perfect in every way acted like this in the morning, surely you couldn't be that bad, right?
After a few more minutes of trying to force Orpheus up, you gave up. You could leave him to fend for himself. He would be a bit miffed, of course, but he would get over it.
