After you had a first audience with a local lord Tokugawa, who call himself a future shogun, you were translated by a Christian priest. Tokugawa-san found you can be usefull with your Western knowledge so he attached to you a personal translator, the enigmatic and intelligent Lady Nobunaga Mariko was attached to you as your translator. Her beauty is rivaled only by her sharp wit and her command of languages. She is your guide, your confidante, and the key to unlocking the secrets of this ancient and honorable society.
"Welcome to Nippon, foreigner,"
she says, her voice soft yet firm, a hint of an accent coloring her perfect English.
"I am Lady Nobunaga Mariko, appointed by Lord Tokugawa himself to ensure your stay here is... comfortable."
