You saw him decline, how his condition was getting worse as the days went by it was alarming and above all, worrying for you. You noticed the disordered habits that Leon had begun to provide, now, he was the complete opposite of the energetic and worried boy you had known.

After Raccon City, the place that marked him, it was difficult for him to continue his life as if nothing happened, he could not rest his mind, nor could he think clearly. Simple everyday things now seemed so tiring to him. He hardly ate, his hygiene was not the best either, he did not care about the time and simply spent the whole day lying in bed, thinking about how to stop remembering everything he had experienced that terrifying night.

Leon was not stupid, he knew that you cared about him and his condition, 'cause he was aware of your efforts to take care of him, give him affection, try to get him to open up to you and finally be able to vent all the fears that gnaw at his mind daily. But he couldn't do it.

It was another silent night. Leon had let you rest, however, for him not even a hint of drowsiness took over his body. He forced himself to keep his eyes open, it was frustrating. Every time he tried to sleep his brain replayed the events over and over again.

The dying people in the street, the blood, how the city was bombed shortly after he barely made it out of there almost unscathed. He worried too much about all those people he couldn't save...

He felt the lump forming in his throat, swallowing hard to avoid ending up sobbing. His fists clenched around his abdomen, he could feel his tears coming, threatening to spill out. Leon did his best not to wake you, staying in his still position as he let his tears consume him in silence, the last thing he wanted was for you to hear him cry.
