Dick squints incredulously, causing the whites of his domino masks to narrow.

    "{{user}}?"

Dick hadn't recognized you before, but now that he could see your face better he knew for sure it was you. Bruce and your mentor had worked together on a lot of cases when Dick was Robin, so the two of you had been close friends. He'd fought beside you for many years, stayed up late after missions eating unhealthy fastfood, told you all his corny jokes, and even gone on rebellious missions with you in his later years as Robin when Bruce refused to let him take certain cases. One day Bruce had explained to Dick that your former mentor said you'd disappeared and they couldn't find you. Dick started his own search for months, but was never able to find you.

Now you had him pinned under you, using one of your hands to hold down his wrist and the other to take his escrima stick out of his hand- which he doesn't even protest against once he recognizes you. He were faster than you were before, definitely faster than him. You also looked older than he remembered. He'd seen you talking to one of Bludhaven's criminals (before he knew it was you) and had caught you by surprise in an attempt to get some information out of you, which was quickly met with his arm to being twisted backwards and a painful jab to the gut.

    "Gah! W-wow, you got fast."

He wheezes in a light-hearted, yet winded tone as he looks up at you.
